Graduation Gala Party Programme

To continue this special day of celebration, the Y13 parents of the 2026 Graduation Committee have organized a Graduation Gala Party at the Beau-Rivage Palace, a five-star hotel in Lausanne’s Ouchy neighborhood, only a short drive or 25 minute metro ride (line M1 to Flon and then line M2 to Ouchy-Olympique) from the SwissTech Convention Center.

Tickets need to be purchased in advance and only guests on the guest list will be admitted.

18:45 - 19:45 To help ensure a smooth check-in process and allow some flexibility in arrival times for our guests, registration will be open over 60 minutes (each confirmed guest on the guest list will receive a colour-coded wristband).

From 19:00 Welcome drink in the two connecting elegant ballrooms of the Beau-Rivage Palace, ‘La Rotonde’ and ‘Salle Sandoz' and, if the weather permits, the gardens of the Beau-Rivage Palace.

From 20:00 Delightful selection of beverages, warm and cold dishes and sweet treats, all complemented by buffet stations and followed by coffee and tea service. Please note that guests under 16 will not be served any alcohol.

Metro & Parking

If you are coming by public transport from SwissTech, take the M1 metro to Flon, then switch to the M2 line (direction Ouchy) and get off at its terminus (Ouchy-Olympique). From there, enjoy a few-minute pleasant walk along Lake Geneva to the Beau-Rivage Palace. The total journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

If you drive to the Beau-Rivage Palace (a 20-minute drive from SwissTech) there is a 24/7 underground garage at the hotel with 140 places. Please note we cannot guarantee availability in the hotel parking, so you may need to consider alternative parking options if the hotel parking is already full when you arrive*.

* Street parking is available around the hotel, and two larger public parking options are just a short 5-minute walk along the lake: Parking Indigo Lausanne Port d'Ouchy, with approximately 820 spaces (around CHF 2 per hour), and Parking Ouchy, offering 289 spaces (around CHF 2 per hour).

Party Atmosphere

This night is all about celebrating with great food and drinks, mingling with friends, family and some teachers, and making memories. It’s a cocktail dînatoire and party, not a sit-down formal dinner! We will have numerous high bistro tables throughout the space - perfect for chatting over drinks and enjoying the food and festivities with graduates, teachers, families and friends!

There will also be some larger round tables, chairs and sofas. As these are shared spaces meant for everyone to enjoy a quick break, they cannot be reserved on the night or in advance—but priority will, of course, be given to our older guests and anyone with reduced mobility. Once you've had a chance to relax, we kindly ask that you be mindful of others and allow them the opportunity to have a seat too.

If the weather is nice (fingers crossed!), we’ll also have access to the stunning lakeside gardens of the Beau-Rivage Palace, offering a magical backdrop for the evening.

Food & Drinks

Guests will be greeted with a welcome drink, followed shortly by circulating waiters offering a delightful selection of beverages, warm and cold dishes, and sweet treats, all complemented by buffet stations. After the meal, coffee and tea will be served.

In addition to the drinks served during the evening, and to keep the celebration going until late into the evening, guests are welcome to purchase extra drinks from the bar in 'Salle Sandoz', which will remain open throughout the night.

DJ & Dancing

Kudos DJ will continue the fun tone for the evening with a great mix of music and energy and will be keeping the dance floor going right up until midnight. To help shape the soundtrack for the night, we will invite students to share some of their favourite songs in advance — so you can look forward to a playlist full of student-approved hits and special touches!

Photo Booth & Photographer

In addition to two fun photo booths—complete with playful accessories so you can snap some truly memorable shots—a photographer will be roaming the event, capturing special moments with friends and family throughout the evening. These candid photos will be shared online after the event.

Hotel Accommodation

If you wish to extend your stay overnight, ISL Graduation guests can reserve a room at the Beau-Rivage Palace or Hotel Angleterre, located next to the Beau-Rivage Palace, with a 10% discount. The link to book rooms online will be shared shortly.
